is an opportunity to learn to throw pots on a wheel or construct ceramic
items in a picturesque studio attached to a Grade 2 listed building in
the Ham Stone Village of North Perrott, Somerset, UK Enjoyable 2 and 3 day Residential Weekend
Courses with good food in a friendly atmosphere.
Beginners and potters with some previous experience
can enjoy potting in small groups of 4 or 5. Three day Raku weekends including
throwing, glazing and firing are available. Tony Lean has been teaching
small groups of potters to throw and to Raku fire over the past few years
and has achieved level 3 Diploma in Design and Craft in the context of
ceramics.
ACCOMMODATION
Comfortable double or single bedrooms in the main house which dates back
to the 1600’s. An en suite double is available. FOOD
Excellent home cooking provided by Gill for breakfast and the evening meal. Wine is provided for this relaxed meal. Light Lunch is available in the house or garden. (price included). Tea or coffee available during the day in the Studio sitting room.
